Multicultural Hair Care Salon
This initiative is an upcoming Multicultural Hair Care Salon, driven by talented student stylists. Our purpose is to celebrate and cater to the diverse array of hair textures and styles that reflect the beauty of different cultures. By fostering inclusivity and embracing the richness of individuality, we aim to redefine beauty standards and create a space where everyone feels represented and valued. Stay tuned as we prepare to launch our services soon, offering personalized and expert care in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
UHS Wellness Campaign
Reproductive health is health, and UHS is an amazing on-campus resource for students to seek out. With the assistance of UHS nurse practitioner Izzy Fourman, Diversity Council is holding dorm-to-dorm events for discussions on reproductive health to inform and answer any questions from students. Among many other things, Izzy has spoken about STDs (what they are, how to prevent them, and how to treat them), period cycles and what affects them, ways to take care of ourselves, etc. Prioritizing a casual and comfortable environment, this campaign strives to make reproductive health concerns accessibly addressable. Notre Dame should be a safe space for all aspects of wellness.
Exercise Literacy Reboot
Our reimagined Exercise Literacy Project is a dynamic initiative aimed to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the world of exercise confidently. Through an inclusive approach, we aim to break down barriers, redefine fitness norms, and create an environment where everyone can embrace the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle. Stay tuned for the relaunch of our program, where we'll provide accessible resources and expert guidance to support your fitness journey.
