Purpose
The Diversity Council of Notre Dame (DCND) is an organization founded in the mission to serve the Notre Dame community on conversations surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion. It is the University's primary liaison between student and administrative bodies specializing in areas extending from the classroom to the wholistic campus life. Diversity Council hopes to unite and empower students through effective policy implementations, initiative construction, and active engagement within the community.

Post-Grad Application Funds
Academic Outreach is actively developing financial support initiatives tailored for first-generation and/or low-income students, extending to all individuals demonstrating a need for assistance in post-graduation schooling applications, such as Law schools, Medical schools, and Graduate schools. As we strive to break barriers and promote equitable educational opportunities, our commitment to empowering students on their academic journeys remains unwavering.

SpeakUpND Advertisement
Currently, Residential Life is working in partnership with the Office of Community Standards to improve the SpeakUpND platform. After evaluating data from the campus inclusive survey and collecting insights from various personal accounts, we recognize the continued existence of discriminatory incidents within the student body. It is essential to highlight that a considerable number of these occurrences go unreported.
